It’s been a busy month for me as a guest lecturer across Western Canada. I’d like to give a sincere thank you to my friends at The Recording Institute of Saskatoon (www.rais.ca), the Nimbus School of Recording and Media, and the Pacific Audio Visual Institute for having me as guest lecturer in their music & business classes. I had engaging conversations with students about the emerging issues in the music industry, the changing roles being played by the various copyrights in a song, and where the whole thing might be heading in the coming years.
